/ Owned Extraction Sites

Three countries. Twelve quarries. Zero intermediaries.

SPI operates quarry assets across Italy, Portugal, and Spain — each site under direct ownership, each block carrying documented geological provenance from extraction to delivery.

Tuscany and Apulia extraction sites yield Calacatta, Statuario, Arabescato, and Portoro. SPI holds operational control from face blasting through primary block sizing.

Alentejo and Estremoz quarries supply Travertino Classico, Travertino Navona, Limestone Jerusalem, and Pietra Dorata with consistent vein structure across extraction phases.

Andalusian and Aragonese sites produce the onyx and semi-precious range — Onyx Jade, Onyx Honey, Amazonite, and Verde Antigua — extracted in controlled slabbing operations.

— Provenance & Control

Every block traced from the formation it left

SPI's extraction teams document each block at the quarry face — formation zone, vein direction, density class — before it enters the processing chain. No third-party sourcing, no retrospective certification.

Consistent volume availability across project phases follows directly from operational ownership. When color matching across a multi-floor installation is specified, we return to the same formation.

Extraction · Block classification · Primary sawing · Slab production · CNC fabrication · Logistics

Specify the stone. We source it from the ground.

Send us your project specification and we will identify the quarry, confirm available volume, and arrange sample delivery to your studio.
